Banana Coconut Cream Pie
Banana Coconut Cream Pie
This Banana Coconut Cream Pie is famous especially in Christmas time, though it can be made throughout the year no matter what is the season.
This can be a side dish or a part of your snacks. Kids like this dessert all the time. They like during Tiffin or before and after games.
We never forget to tell you that anything you prepare, you have to have something in your mind –which we call, plan ahead. If you do not think before and make a small plan at least – for sure you cannot reach to the taste you want.
Mainly you need two different items:
One: You’re right Ingredients
Two: The Utilities you need during the preparation
Ingredients:
1 1/2 - Cup white all purpose flour (sifted)
1 1/3 - Cups Half- Half milk
1 - Can Sweetened Condensed Milk
2 - Table spoons butter
3 - Large egg yolks, beaten
1 - Tea spoon vanilla extract
1/2 - Cup flaked coconut, toasted
3 - Medium bananas
1 – Table Spoon Lemon juice
2 - Prepared graham cracker pie crust
Heavy cream, whipped
Chopped Almonds for Garnishing
Utilities:
1 - Large Bowl / Saucepan
1 – Medium Bowl
1 - Non Stick Pan
1 – Non Stick Fry Pan
1 – Hand Mixer
Wooden or plastic Spoon (for stirring the ingredients during cooking)
Coconut Cream Pie:
Take a large saucepan or a large bowl. Then put Flour, Condense Milk, and Brown Egg Yolks, cold half and half milk in to the bowl. Mix well all these items together so that they mix homogeneously. You can use hand mixer for mixing these ingredients.
Turn the stove in medium heat and put a non stick pan on the oven. Then cook slowly in medium heat and stir well until thickened and starts sparkling or bubbly. Now take out half part of the batter in to another bowl.
Now take your non stick pan and put coconut powder in the pan and fry in low temperature until it turns light brown. Then add this coconut powder to the first part of the mixer. Then remove the pan from the oven. Add little amount of butter and Mexican vanilla in to the first batter. Mexican vanillas are the best of vanilla essence Take pie crusts and fill it with this pour, Chill 2 hours or until set. Top with whipped cream.
Banana Pie:
Get the second pie crusts and dip the banana with little bit of lemon juice and arrange on bottom of pie crust. Now there is a lair of banana in the bottom and then cut 1 or 2 banana in the second part of batter and filling over 2nd pie shell. Chill 2 hour or until set. Top with whipped cream.
Top holiday recipes Tips:
To make 2 pies, divide filling between 2 prebaked (2-cup volume each) pie crusts.
Bake the pie shell first in oven then fill with pour. Fold in 2 cups of whipped topping.
Garnish with toasted coconut and chopped almonds.
