Method:

Artichokes recipes is good to have in your menu in Holiday recipe .
Ingredient List:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
1 round (4 1/2 oz of Brie cheese)
1/3 Cup of chopped artichoke hearts packed in water (rinsed under cool water and drained).
2 teaspoons minced basil (use fresh if possible. If you opt for dried basil, be certain that is is not past its expiration date)
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 garlic clove, minced (minced garlic is readily available in jars)
Salt and cayenne pepper to taste
Assorted crackers
Slice the Brie cheese round in half horizontally (resulting in 2 halves of a Brie cheese wheel).
Place one half of the cheese wheel in a pie plate or round baking dish (no buttering or oiling of baking dish required).
Set the other half of Brie cheese aside.
Combine the artichokes, basil, olive oil and garlic into a mixture.
Artichokes recipes makes good Once the Artichokes, basil and olive oil are thoroughly combined, spread the mixture over the brie.
Take the other half of the brie cheese wheel and place it on top of the other half already in the baking dish.
(Optional: lightly sprinkle upper half of Brie cheese with slivered almonds for an extra bit of crunch and flavour).
You now have Brie with Artichokes ready for baking.
Once the oven reaches 350 degrees Fahrenheit, place baking dish and Brie into the oven on center rack.
Allow to cook for 10-15 minutes, or until Brie is heated throughout.
After baking, allow Brie with Artichokes to cool on a rack for 5-10 minutes.
Remove Brie with Artichokes from the baking dish and place it upon a serving plate or platter.
Serve with assorted crackers.
(Several hosts also serve Brie cheese with a baguette, French bread or Pita bread).
Cheese enthusiast and many people who serve Brie cheese have noted that the rind is quite delicious and should not be avoided when eating.
